Getting ready to graduate is tough. I’m heading into my second term of the second semester of grade 11 and we’re looking at what we want to take in grade 12 in order to graduate. We are pretty much picking the rest of our lives right now and it’s quite a stressful experience. If we don’t take sciences and math’s because we plan on taking a BA in the arts and then we change our mind then we’re in trouble because we don’t have what we need. It’s now or never to choose what we want to do and honestly, I have no clue. There are so many options and it’s so hard to figure out which one is for me. Do I want to be a writer? A scientist? A doctor? A musician? How can I make sure that what I pick is really what I want to do?

Hmmm, my first ACYL blog. I would tell you a bit about myself, but that would exhaust my next 4 or 5 blog topics. I want to start by sharing a bit about how I ended up, in the span of a week, going from Facebook slacker to Twitter-(er?) to writing my own blog...Internet fandom to follow.

The media, these days, has created a mold of what women “should be” in this society. It’s sickening. Since when do girls need to be perfect to be loved?

I’ve always been a girl who loves body art. Needless to say, I was so excited to get my first tattoo done this summer. The fact that I’ve never really loved needles meant I was pretty nervous too! Thankfully, I had a great group of people to make sure the whole experience went well.
