Alright ladies and gentleman, it's time for your first ever WHAT THE FRIDAY?? My hope is that each Friday I can give you a little glimpse of things that make me go What the (Friday)? This weeks session comes from my trip home from ACYL. What the Friday is up with boarding an airplane. It's like it makes everyone lose a little piece of their brain, truth is, grown adults cannot follow simple instructions. Does anyone else have an experience like this?
Here's how it goes..
intercom lady: old people, people with babies, people in wheelchairs, people who pay through their nose for five more inches of seat room (first class, or elite), please come and board the plane....
*everyone waiting to board then stands up and gets into a line all the way to the next gate*
intercom lady: in order to facilitate boarding we would like to ask all people sitting in the back, rows ??-?? please board now
*everyone stands in the STILL obnoxiously long line*
intercom lady: now passengers in the front of the plane are welcome to board at your convenience
*everyone, stands in line for ten minutes, with 50 empty seats all around them waiting in the line*
I just don't get it!!! If people could wait their turn, you wouldn't have to stand up for ten minutes waiting for Paris Hilton to get her over sized carry on into the overhead bin when she is clearly sitting in row 5, and all the passengers in row 20 are waiting behind her!
Seriously? What The Friday??
